Weekend Training

It looks like being a dry but cold weekend. Highly likely that both cycles will go ahead, but there may be a slight delay in the start time if there is frost out so pay attention to the Viber / Facebook. The racing season inches ever closer so come out and test yourself over the two days. The following weekend is the Winter Warrior so use this weekend to get up to speed. On Saturday we are doing the looped course we abandoned last week and on Sunday it’s back to the lake.

Saturday Spin: meet at the hotel at 9:00 (racing cyclists out at 8:00)

Route: we will do laps of the North Tipp Wheeler race route – Nenagh, Moneygall, Cloughjordan. Each lap we do will be done at an increased pace. You can come out and do 1, 2 or all 3 laps.

Sunday Spin: meet at Tescos at 8:00

Route: we will be doing the lake route. You have the option of doing the normal route or extended one. The extended one takes a little over 4 hours. Coffee stop in Tuamgraney after the Will Rymer Memorial Sprint.
